For the entirety of The War Within, I oversaw all cave production for the expansion. This involved communicating with each zone to find out how many caves they needed. From there I trained a lot of the Environment Team on cave production and then figured out which caves to assign to which artist on the team. Elliot Picarello contributed a ton of caves to this expansion, these are the cave he made for The Ringing Deeps. I was able to assist him finalizing a few of his caves with geometry, lighting, and UV polish; as-well-as set dressing a large portion of the caves he helped to create. Set dressing caves is a lot of fun because we create a variety of asset layouts that can be used in different placements of the same cave to make them feel different from each other. The Environment Team made a ton of amazing plants that were a lot of fun to use in making these cave kits.
