World of Warcraft: Midnight - Den of Nalorakk Cave

For the Den of Nalorakk dungeon, I got the privilege to design the cave players first enter into before heading out the doors into the rest of the dungeon. This was a fun project as the cave needed architectural support from the dungeon team's troll kit they made for Zul'Aman. Steve Crow was a great help showing me the available pieces I could use within the cave. From there we collaborated on a frame size/shape for the cave exit that the prop team then made us a door for.

This cave was a lot of fun to set dress and decorate with plants, as it was meant to feel ethereal and numinous. Using lush ferns, plants, and mushrooms as well as breaking up the ground with pools of waters from the flowing waterfalls. Once all of the plants and architecture was set up, Rachel Myer set up the remaining props for the ritual the players undertake before leaving the cave.
